Bridgyr exists for one purpose: to help Board-Approved Supervisors and provisional psychologists manage their supervision relationships in compliance with AHPRA's framework. This policy sets out what appropriate use of the platform looks like. It applies equally to supervisors and provisionals. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

What Bridgyr Is For

Bridgyr supports active, AHPRA-registered supervision relationships under the 5+1 (or legacy 4+2) internship framework. The platform is a record-keeping and workflow tool — it helps supervisors and provisionals log, review, and sign off supervision activities in a structured, auditable way.

Permitted Use

  • Managing active supervision relationships between a Board-Approved Supervisor and their registered provisionals

  • Logging, reviewing, annotating, and signing off supervision sessions

  • Tracking compliance ratios and supervision hours

  • Generating exportable records for AHPRA audit purposes

  • Communicating with your supervisor or supervisee within the platform

  • Exporting records for professional record-keeping

Prohibited Use

Patient Information

  • No patient names, Medicare numbers, or any patient-identifying information may be entered into the platform.

  • Supervision records must reference clinical work in de-identified terms only — for example, "a client presenting with anxiety", never a named individual.

  • Bridgyr is not a clinical records system.

Record Integrity

  • No falsification, fabrication, or misrepresentation of session records.

  • No back-dating or tampering with sign-off timestamps.

  • No creating records for sessions that did not occur.

Important: Falsification of supervision records is a serious professional misconduct matter. Bridgyr reserves the right to report suspected falsification to AHPRA.

Account and Access

  • No credential sharing — each user must have their own account.

  • No unauthorised access to another user's records.

  • Supervisors must only invite their current, registered supervisees.

  • Do not use the platform if your BAS registration has lapsed, been suspended, or been cancelled.

Voice Logging

  • Voice recordings must contain only the provisional's own professional reflections — not patient voices, clinical session audio, or any patient-identifying information.

  • Do not record any person other than yourself.

  • Do not record sessions, client conversations, or third parties without their knowledge and consent.

General Prohibited Activities

  • No use unrelated to psychology supervision

  • No automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction

  • No security probing or penetration testing

  • No use that would breach AHPRA's Code of Conduct or the Psychology Board's Supervision Guidelines

Enforcement

Bridgyr may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or report suspected falsification to AHPRA. We will generally attempt to contact the user before taking action, unless the violation is serious, ongoing, or involves potential harm.
